Croatian President opens the wind farm Oštra Stina

The President of the Republic of Croatia, Ivo Josipovic, has opened on 15.08.2013 a wind farm Oštra Stina. Fourteen wind turbines with total capacity of 42 MW are product of the joint venture of 'Kermas Energy' and Iljko Ćurić.

They have invested 65 million euros in development of the wind park and conjoint infrastructure. This investment represents the biggest one in Croatia this year and is the largest single investment in renewable energy. Oštra Stina wind farm will produce 118 million kilowatt-hours annually, that meets the power needs of 38,000 households. Oštra Stina is situated in Kamešnica, 20 kilometers from Trilj and around 60 km from Split in a mountainous region above Sinjsko Polje.
